Before and After School Program
At Prettyboy Recreation Home B.A.S.E, we offer a Before and After School Program designed to provide a structured, safe, and fun environment for children in grades K-5. Our program goes beyond just care—it’s an opportunity for your child to engage in enriching activities that foster learning, growth, and creativity. Whether you need care before school or after school, our dedicated staff ensures that every child feels welcomed, valued, and supported.
Our program is more than just a place to hang out—it’s a space where children can complete homework, participate in group activities, make new friends, and explore new interests. With extended hours from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, we offer flexibility that fits your family’s needs while maintaining a high standard of care and safety.
We’re conveniently located in the Recreation Room at Prettyboy Elementary School, offering a seamless transition for students attending the school. However, our services are open to children from outside the school district as well. No matter where you live, we invite you to experience the exceptional care and supportive environment we provide.
Before and After School Program
The morning can be a stressful time for families, but we make it easier by offering a calm, nurturing environment where children can start their day on the right foot. Our Before School Program runs from 6:30 AM to school start time and includes the following:
- Homework Time: For children who like to get a head start on their school assignments, we provide a quiet space for homework completion and support.
- Morning Activities: We offer a variety of activities to engage children, including games, puzzles, arts and crafts, and even light physical activities to get them energized for the school day ahead.
- Healthy Snacks: A small nutritious snack is provided to fuel children for the day, promoting good eating habits from an early age.
The goal of the Before School Program is to create a peaceful and engaging start to the day while ensuring that your child is prepared for their classes at Prettyboy Elementary School or other local schools.
After School Program
Our After School Program runs from school dismissal until 6:00 PM. After a long day of classes, we offer a variety of activities to keep children active, entertained, and learning. This program helps kids unwind in a fun, creative environment. Here’s what you can expect:
Physical Activities
We promote physical health with outdoor playtime, group sports, and games that help children burn off energy and stay fit.
Structured Play & Group Activities
We encourage teamwork and creativity with organized games, arts and crafts, and interactive projects.
Enrichment Activities
From STEM projects to creative arts, we offer activities that support your child’s development and provide hands-on learning opportunities.
Homework Help
Children can get assistance with homework in a quiet area where staff is available to guide them through assignments.
