About Us
Prettyboy Recreation Home B.A.S.E & Tiny Tots was founded as part of the Prettyboy Recreation Council, a dedicated non-profit organization that has served the Freeland, Maryland community for over two decades. Since its establishment in 1995, the Prettyboy Recreation Council has been a cornerstone of family-friendly programs and activities in the PBES community and the surrounding areas.
The organization's long-standing partnership with the Baltimore County Recreation and Parks Department has made it possible to offer a range of recreational programs that cater to children and families throughout the year. The Prettyboy Recreation Council has continuously strived to meet the needs of the community by providing accessible and meaningful programs to include Child Care for ages 2-12, sports, art, dance, and yoga.

The programs offered through the Prettyboy Recreation Council are organized and run by dedicated volunteers who work hand-in-hand with the Recreation Council and the local Parks Department. Each program is headed by a chairperson who ensures that it runs smoothly and is aligned with the community's goals and values. Over the years, the Prettyboy Recreation Council has earned a reputation as a trusted provider of high-quality childcare and recreational services.

Whether it's our preschool for toddlers or our before- and after-school program, we strive to make our services accessible to all members of the Prettyboy Elementary School community and the surrounding areas.

We are proud to offer need-based scholarships, ensuring that every child, regardless of their financial background, has the opportunity to benefit from our services.
